Telephone call of Obligation is a 2003 first-person shooter game created by Infinity Ward and released by Activision. It is the initial installment in the Telephone Call of Duty franchise, launched on October 29, 2003, for Microsoft Windows. The game imitates infantry as well as consolidated arms warfare of World War II using a changed version of the ID Tech 3 engine. Much of its style and gameplay is comparable to the Medal of Honor series; nonetheless, Call of Obligation showcases multiple viewpoints presented in the American, British, and Soviet theaters of The second world war. The game presented a new take on AI-controlled allies who support the player throughout goals and react to situational adjustments throughout gameplay.
