The best video games arrive in December 2021
The biggest month of video game release of the year have now passed, but it does not mean that publishers do not want to cringe in some major versions before Christmas. The second-largest release of December is the Final Extension Fantasy XIV: End walker, but we have already covered it in our article on the top 5 video games arriving in November 2021 because it was pushed back to December at the last second. Our Top Runner-up of the month is in the form of Chorus, a spatial shooting game released on all consoles, developed by Fish labs, which so far came out mainly mobile games. The final title not part of our Top 5, Advance Wars 1 + 2 Re-Boot Camp, was postponed from December 3rd in the spring of 2022, which this writer did not realize before writing this article.
That being said, let's move on to the top 5 video games that arrive in December 2021:
5 . Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX — December 9
Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX is a Switch and PC version of two RPG PS1 classics. The Monster Rancher series was created in the wake of the mega boom Pokémon of the late 90s and had the unique thing to replace the game CD with music CDs, on which monsters were all coded. Seriously, every music album I owned had a different monster (the soundtrack of my film spawn had a super rare that was very demanded). Monster Rancher consists more of raising and fighting monsters to venture, but the fans of the original games and television series will be very curious to see how the switch manages the mechanism of monster generation, without CD support.
4 . Record of Lodoss War: Deed lit in Wonder Labyrinth — 16 December
Record of Lodoss War: Deed lit in Wonder Labyrinth is one of the most acclaimed MetroidVania 2D games in recent years. Finally, it arrives at the PlayStation and Switch consoles in December. Although apparently a digital version only, physical copies without a region in English are published in Asia. Deed lit in Wonder Labyrinth is based on the RECORD OF LOSS WAR franchise, the original anime being one of my favorite series from the early 1990s.
