Senate 1 of the Austrian Bundesliga sentenced Rapid President Martin Bruckner to a fine of 2,500 euros (plus the same amount) on Monday evening.
Rapid won a 2-2 draw against the Carinthians in a game with controversial referee decisions. The game was directed by Referee Christian-Petru Ciochirca.
"Immediately after the final whistle of our last home game against Austria Klagenfurt, I let myself be carried away against the referee team that I regret and with whom I did not live up to my role model. Shot at the goal, which should not happen even if you feel very unfairly treated, "says Bruckner in a sentence of the Hütteldorfer as a punishment.
